  • Overview

     

    We are seaking sales person with experience with building material products.   In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for building and maintaining a profitable book of business while servicing existing accounts.

     

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

    • Responsible for generating sales opportunities for a diverse customer based such as walk in customers as well as existing accounts.
    • Responsible for being knowledgeable of products by attending vendor seminars and trainings.
    • Responsible for day to day management of the position, including becoming completely knowledgeable with all systems that support sales and service efforts.
    • Keep management informed of the status of sales activities.
    • Daily contact with luxury high-end Developers, Contractors, Architects and Interior Designers.
    • Complete and process all documentation related to sales.
    • Ability to develop and maintain relationships (internal & external).
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • High School diploma or equivalent, College Degree preferred
    • Knowledge of building materials
    • Demonstrated customer development and relationship skills
    • 3 years solid experience within high volume sales environment
    • Strong Mathematic abilities
    • Effective oral and written communications Skills
    • High energy with strong work ethic
    • Extremely motivated
    • Ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
